Theme Verse: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (NKJV)
Peace is so hard to find in our world today. Especially in a world full of violence, but what type of peace are we looking for? Are you looking for temporary peace or eternal peace? Sure, temporary peace is fantastic, but it's temporary. For example, in my hectic life, I have an hour or so of downtime, and while that's good to help me rewind and relax whenever I'm finally relaxed. My siblings are screaming their lungs out and going crazy. One cool thing about eternal peace it's endless. It lasts forever. That is the peace that we get when we believe in Jesus. It is the peace we have, even when things become tough or busy. It's us remembering that things will be hard in times of crisis, but it's only a season, and through it, all God is still in control. Philippians 4: 6-7 says Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Brothers and Sisters whenever you're stressed out or super busy. Remember that it's only a season and that God is still in control. Have peace knowing that God will always be with you in the easy times and in the hard times. I want to encourage you if you are stressed out or feeling that God isn't listening to you; I want to encourage you to pray and realize that He is listening to you.
